What is Platify?

Platify is a free mobile app that helps you manage recipes and track nutrition, all in one place. It's designed for home cooks who want to stay organised in the kitchen.

Which platforms is Platify available on?

Platify is currently available on Android via the Google Play Store. An iOS version is planned for the future.

Is Platify free to use?

Yes! Platify is completely free. There is an optional Platify Premium upgrade that removes ads and supports development, but all core features are available for free.

How do I add a recipe?

Open the Recipes tab and tap the + button. You can add a name, description, cover image, ingredients, directions, and nutritional items. Recipes can also be organised into boards and tagged for easy filtering.

Can I track what I eat?

Absolutely. The Records tab lets you log food items from our product database. You can track daily calories, carbs, protein, and fat against personalised nutrition goals.

What is a Collection?

A Collection groups multiple food products together, for example "Breakfast" or "Post-Workout Snack". You can then quickly log the entire collection to your diary in one tap.

Can I scan barcodes to add products?

Yes. Platify includes a barcode scanner that lets you quickly look up products and their nutritional information.

Can I share recipes with friends?

Yes. Recipes can be shared via a simple link. The recipient can view the recipe in their browser, no account or app installation required.

Is my data private?

Yes, privacy is a core principle of Platify. All your data (nutrition records, recipes, settings, and personal goals) is stored entirely on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers unless you actively choose to share a recipe publicly. Only those public recipes are stored on our server so other users can discover them. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.

Can I export or back up my data?

Yes. Under Settings you'll find Data Export & Import options. You can export your local data and import it on another device.

What does Platify Premium include?

Platify Premium removes all advertisements from the app. It's a one-time purchase that also helps support ongoing development. All core features remain free regardless.
